While our world increasingly becomes a site of ever-impending crises, from natural disasters to wars, I approach the classroom as a place for building and sustaining community through relations of care. I foster such relations of care by attending to the diverse skill sets and needs of each student. As a teacher, I recognize the value of incorporating diverse mediums, resources, and perspectives in the classroom to render politics relatable and accessible, while encouraging active learning and practical skill-building.
